Today Seth had his 9 month check up! The best part about the checkup is that the only shot he had was the iron test. Of course, the iron test came back low and he's on iron drops now. But that's ok, because these drops don't stain your teeth. He also needs more baby cereal. He is 17 pounds, which is only the 5th percentile. But he is also 28 inches long, which is the 40th percentile. So at least he's growing longer, if nothing else. The worst part about the appointment was finding out why he wouldn't sleep at night. He has a double ear infection, and has had one since his cold went away, like 2 weeks ago! Thank goodness for bubblegum amoxicillan.

ouch! double ear infections hurt! hopefully they go away soon and you all can get some sleep.
I remember when my brothers were babies and they would have their check ups they were always considered "too skinny" even though they ate a ton and were perfectly healthy. My mom would always say-if the dr thinks theyre too skinny he should try carrying them around all day! hehe...my little brother Matt had to get iron pills too when he was younger cause he refused to eat anything but cereal. I hope Seth feels better soon!
